Will you help me write the Definitive Feisty Flatback Manual?

No, that is not its actual title, and I am still in the

planning-a-book-proposal phase. But I hope to draw on some of your

posts and especially on your answers to the questions I have posted as

Questions of the Week, which are to become part of the evolving Feisty

FAQ. I hope this FAQ will become an important part of the book.

Will you let me preen or boast for a moment? I was just so happy to

hear this from Andy Stanton (a Feisty moderator, and my intrepid

author-mentor and coach). She mentioned in a letter to Dr. LaGrone

that she knew someone who was writing this book, for people with

flatback syndrome in need of revision surgery, and he wrote her a very

nice letter back saying what a good idea the book was.

Now, here is what I still need from YOU -- if you are willing. We are

a little light on answers to some of the FAQ questions. So I am going

to resume posting Questions of the Week, and even recycle a few of the

initial questions, in hopes of getting some newer and more variegated

answers. Please feel free to answer these questions again if you have

answered them before, or to answer them for the first time if you have

not done so previously. And please understand that, by so doing, you

are giving your consent for me to use them in a book. I would like you

to indicate in your answer -- and will provide a specific place to do

this in -- what name if any you would like used with any quotation

from you in the eventual book (e.g., first name only, first and last

name, username, nickname, pen name, phony name, name of your

alter ego . . .you get the idea).

Many thanks in advance! -- and watch for the first QOW, coming soon to

your local mailbox.

Best,
