Guest guest
Hi Doreen- The facial reflexes therapy will certainly help. How often are you doing the process now? Twice a week, and very slowly and pleasantly deep to activate each system, will likely show good results quickly. I have a 6 years old son (asd). I have attended the Singapore Camp last December. Recently he has started to grind his teeth while sleeping at night. He has stopped for a couple of months and he has started to grind his teeth again. His preschool teacher also mentioned that he has started to put his fingers in his mouth again. I thought this bad habit has stopped a few month ago. Is there any way of stopping these two habits? Should I do more of the facial and mouth reflexes? Guest guest
Teeth grinding often is caused by unrecognized parasites. Stool specimens miss the parasite diagnosis more than 50% of the time. Guest guest
Hi Doreen,You might try working with the Babkin Palmomental reflex. We had a mother in one of our courses who also found that when she pressed the palms when her son was grinding his teeth during sleep and becoming restless that he stopped and settled down. The palms are the stimulus point for the Babkin Palmomental reflex. HTH,

Guest guest
Just a consideration, teeth grinding at night can also be a sympton of pin worms. Just to be sure, consider checking that too. Guest guest
One of the main causes of teeth grinding at night that I see is TMJ problems usually related to emotional issues. If the emotions get cleared out the teeth grinding usually goes away. It also could be a lymphatic issue. Guest guest
I see and treat many children with mouth TMJ and teeth grinding issues. I use cranio sacral therapy for all clients who have mouth issues and yes, this can be result of emotional issues or alignment issues. Somato emotional release/cranio sacral therapy does address the emotional issues. It is my experience that this is also fright and flight issues. I would suggest finding a cranio sacral therapist in your area. You can also look at the UpledgerInstitute.com web site for a therapist--use a therapist with a minimum of Cranio sacral therapy 2 for assistance.
