Cheryl,

I doubt that I would be capable of editing your medical summary, but I did

want you to know that I consider that a wonderful idea. I, too, have typed up

all my surgeries and hospitalizations, etc., and even a separate list of meds

that I take. I carry a copy with me at all times. Whenever I have to fill out

those " clipboard things " I just put in " see attached " and then I ask the

person at the desk to make copies to attach. Some people are really

appreciative!

I did it for me. I was sooooo tired of writing the same things over and

over.

I, too, plan to see Dr. Rand. I haven't called yet because I've been sick

and need to get some other appointments out of the way. I do hope to call

before the end of the year.

The very best of luck to you.!

(BTW, I lived in Troy and worked in Albany when my husband was going to

school at RPI. Of course, that was back in the Dark Ages!)

I saw Dr. Errico , Dr Dwyer's partner(?), in their NJ office. He's scheduled

my revision surgery for Feb. 23,2004. He and Dr. Dwyer accept most insurance

payments......ie: he'll accept however much out of network payments my

insurance makes. I'm Hoping that NYUniversity Hospital is as cooperative! I

skipped

Dr. Boachie cuz of his phone contacts' attitute about insurance

coverage..........they wanted payment up front prior to surgery!

,

I had him on my computer very recently, and cannot find him now. However, I

have the snail mail address for New England Baptist Hospital, which is 125

Hill Avenue, Boston, MA 02120. The general tel.# is 617 754-5800. I'm

sure you could reach him through that!

Hope this helps!

Carole M. P.S. I guess I should have mentioned Frand Rand, MD
