Ladies...

I don't know about the rest of you (as far as ages go!) but my biggest complaint

about " boobies " is that when you reach my age (which will be 50 in August!!)

they begin to fall prey to gravity!! The only way I can keep mine where they

used to be is with the Miracle Bra...and I hate underwires with a passion.

Luckily, they never made it past the B-cup size so I tend to wear sports bras

more than anything else. My other complaint with " regular " bras is that the

clasps hit me right at the top of my scar and irritate that!!

God, it's hell getting old!!!

I'm 28 and my boobs sag almost worse than my mother's (who is 47). I

attribute it to being in the back brace the year after surgery when

I was 13 turning 14 and my boobs went from a B to a DD during that

time with no bras to help. Just the brace which rested just

underneath them. If I ever choose to have plastic surgery (cuz

pretty much I don't chose surgery - had enough) it would be a boob

lift just to have perky boobs once in my life. I guess they were

perky B's right before surgery. I wear underwire now, which helps

with support and reducing the appearance of sag. And you're right,

the hooks hit right at the top of my scar which can be very

irritating.

This is way off the Flatback topic (but distantly related!)...the only time I

ever had " peky boobies " was when I was pregnant with my son (19 years ago!!).

I gave birth in February so was thrilled to FINALLY have some sembelance of

cleavage during the winter months and boy, did I ever take advantage of that!! I

worn maternity sweaters all the time!!! The boobies remained while I nursed him,

but once that was over it was down-hill (literally!) for the past 19 years. And

to add insult to injury, not only did they begin to sag but they shrunk back

down to my original B cup size...bummer!! And having the Flatback didn't help in

the gravity department either!! When you walk around for 6 years falling foward

day by day, they tend to fall foward too!

Plastic surgery of any kind isn't even on my radar...I think having my spine

re-configured 5 X's , 1 of which required my fusion be " broken " in 3 areas in

order to crank me backwards 3 inches, ranks right up in the " EXTREME MAKEOVER "

catagory!!!

---I had the same problem after I stopped nursing. I remember

looking down my shirt and saying to my husband " was I always this

small? " . Which his reply was " unfortunatly yes " .

Anyways would the reason you would have re-configured surgery is

so you stand up straighter?
