I did have a nice phone conversation with her last night, though. She sounds amazingly good! She gave me loads of info about her experience, and sang quite a few praises of Dr. Rand, as well as of the staff as a whole. I couldn't believe her; here I was checking up on her, and she wanted to talk about MY condition, and encourage me to schedule a visit with Dr. Rand. What can I say? I feel encouraged. I was admitted to BI last Thurs with a small bowel obstruction, and just got out today (3/31). A terrible trip. This has happened to me before, and there really is no good reason for this particular go around. I have adhesions which are too many to remove without causing " short bowel syndrome " and another ostomy. Sooooo, I couldn't visit anyone, and haven't answered any posts at all. I am glad to see that everyone is still there, though. I am extremely happy to see a post from ! I do hope that your complete recovery will be swift! Carole M.
