Guest guest
On Monday, May 22nd, ABC News ran a story on ADR featuring Dr. Fabian Bitan at New York's Lenix Hill Hospital. The story made it sound as if Dr. Bitan was performing cutting edge medical technology, as an alternative to fusion. They did however, make clear the fact that the surgery was only being performed on one level and on spines that have not been operated on previously. The doctor surprized me when he actually admitted that 30% of his patients continue to have back pain after surgery. It will be nice when the " worlds greatest healthcare delivery system " catches up with the surgeons at Stenum Hospital in Germany, whom have successfully performed ADR on thousands of patients, hundreds of them being from the U.S and many of these operations have involved mutlple levels with lengthy Harrington Rods that were previously inserted.
