Dr. Svetlana Masgutova is teaching Intro to Birthing & Facial Reflexes Class, August 25 – 28, 2006 Flyer available at www.transitionpoint.org WHAT IS EVENING ABOUT? An introduction to Dr. Masgutova and the Masgutova Method that helps challenged bodies develop through a movement based program. This is a night to ask questions and have short discussions on reflexes, integration of the brain/body, and how Brain Gym assists in repatterning the brain/body system. Through evolution humans have acquired a series of reflexes. However, for some trauma has affected the development of the reflexes and abnormal movement patterns develop in order to survive, keeping the body stuck. Once the body can access normal patterns/reflexes it can grow and function at a higher level, accessing the brain for normal integration. This is extremely effective for autism, CP, ADD, ADHD, Asbergers, brain injury, Down’s Syndrome, Dyslexia, Hypotonic and Hypertonic, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing Disorder, Alzheimers, all learning and performance challenges. WHAT DO YOU GET? • Discover if this might help you or someone you love. • Ask questions of Dr. Masgutova and a licensend Brain Gym Consultant. • Hear experiences of those who use Dr. Masgutova’s work and Brain Gym. • Sign up for the class. WHAT YOU WILL GET IN THE INTRO TO BIRTHING AND FACIAL CLASS: • Understand and learn how reflexes impact development. • Identify the reflexes that are not integrated or need to be activated. • Receive hands on training in techniques used to activate and integrate the reflexes. • Learn how you can do this at home. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING: My 5 yr. old son, diagnosed with mixed type cerebral palsy, is calmer, more independent, and has improved balance and range of movement after using Dr. Masgutova's methods. We've seen encouraging improvements in a short time compared to the past. -- Freitas Svetlana’s work with my client, a brain injured man with blindness and left side muscle contractions, was extraordinary in giving him strength and use of his whole body. -- Pam Whitman For more information regarding the class contact Pam Whitman, tpbraingym@...
