We do celebrate bizarre anniversaries here, don't we? I finally figured out how to describe the sound - it was like the sound when the bat hits the baseball - that CRACK. I have some pain, but the sensation seems to have been from an area where I don't have much feeling to begin with. It hurt more today when we walked Costco for an hour. And the left pelvic area is VERY painful to touch. Seems contradictory - pain vs numbness. Weird. Anyway, I have had so many x-rays, I'm trying to avoid more radiation exposure. I'm laying low this w/e and pretending like it's a worst case scenario and I actually cracked a bone. BUT, could it be a tendon or scar tissue popping over hardware or something?

I saw Ondra for two years, lengthening periods between visits, but I don't remember exactly (maybe 2 months, then 6, then 1 year). And I should have returned a few years ago, allowing three years between visits, but I blew it off as unnecessary and I just do not have time. I really hate to go back down there.

How have you been doing? I haven't even had much time to check in on everyone. I feel bad about that.

Donna,I don't want to even pretend to give medical advice, but I think you should probably get an x-ray just to be sure that nothing happened in there. Congrats on your 8 year anniversary by the way! Did you feel pain or anything strange when you heard the crack? Do you have any pain now?And just out of curiousity - how long after your surgery did you continue to follow up at Northwestern?>> Hey everyone. Been a long time since I've posted a question here.
