Broken Harrington rod and spirit.

Yeah, I found out today that my harrington rod is broken. I cried a

long time tonight. Partially from fear and relief. Maybe they can

finally fix the chronic pain I've been living with for the past 20

years.

I had my operation in 1986 - I was diagnosed in May and had the

operation in August. Very quick. I'm not sure if it was a money grab

or what, but it's always caused me pain from the time it was inserted.

The most I got was " suck it up. " Nice, eh?

Anyways, like I said, maybe something can be finally done. Has anyone

else went through this?
