Guest guest
Congratulations Pearl ! - I hope it turns out exactly how you hope. The best advice is the simplest...rest...rest...rest =) Everything else can wait, but taking care of yourself can't wait. There is a wealth of information & experience here, if you have ANY questions about the recovery journey you have started on. I hope to hear good things from you soon. Sincerely......................Kathy From: Pearl Fleischmann <pfleisch@...> Sent: Sunday, July 3, 2011 12:25 PMSubject: First scoliosis surgery Hi everyone,I just came home about a week ago from my first scoliosis surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases inn NYC. I am in my fifties and the surgery was about 11.5 hours. I am still kind of weak and tire easily. Hopefully, I will gain back my strength.Pearl
Guest guest
Bravo, Pearl! Please be very, very good to yourself. And don't worry at all if your healing seems to be progressing at an awfully slow rate. It can take some time before you really feel like yourself again. Thanks so much for sending us this post-op bulletin. You have now joined the Feisty Revision Champs. I hope you'll keep us posted on your progress as your strength and energy allow.
