What can be done about this? Is it possible to contact an agency like

Amnesty International? If this is true, this is the reason we MUST have a

more visible, more active presence in India. Or there will be concentration

camps.

I realize the situation there is much more volatile and strange, with so

many languages and religious traditions--and all the underlying conflicts

that lie like coiled serpents beneath. But it should be clear to all that

this kind of discrimination and threat is unacceptable. Indeed, it is but a

hair's breadth away from imprisoning people based on sexual orientation or

disease status. That, of course, is a death sentence.
