Hi, Everyone --

It's great to see the response to the call for a letter-writing focused on the

Dr. Oz Show.

On a slightly less cheery note, I am at the Feisty website right now, and it

looks to me as if some of the posts that definitely " went through " yesterday are

not yet showing up at the site. I am sorry if you are one of the writers. I know

that the people are working hard on curing various glitches with

Groups, and I am hoping this is just a passing problem. If not, I will

definitely send them another problem-report.

Keep those emails (or snail-mails) going out to Dr. Oz! Just reading more about

doctors who are still sending flatbackers away with a dismissive pat on the head

or a sarcastic wisecrack intensifies my resolve to GET THIS CONDITION

RECOGNIZED! (If we do get the news out via television, and enough patients watch

the program, we can be sure the doctors will soon hear about it. Some doctors

have commented that every time a medical story makes it to the airwaves or the

cover of a popular magazine, they are deluged with calls from patients before

they have even had a chance to check out the story themselves. This phenomenon

kind of forces some of our reluctant, overworked surgeons to stay halfway

informed about what's medically hot in the " popular culture " arena -- even if

they have missed the last few years of Scoliosis Research Society meetings or

are accumulating a stack of unread spine journals . . . ) (Why do I have such a

strong suspicion that these are the same docs who are reportedly still CAUSING

flatback deformities?)

Best,

I thought it might have been me hitting the wrong button. Now I'm wondering if that message I typed 3 times will show up 3 times. If so...sorry.
