Dear All,

I wonder if Dr Sajith Kumar is underestimating the adantage of

triple-drug regimens over dual therapy. The benefits in terms of

survival time, quality of life and immune reconstitution are

significantly better. Added to which, the cost of the third drug

(eg, the NNRTIs) is not exponentially higher. Dual-therapy is a

short-term view.
