Guest guest
Hi there, Well this is me back from Germany again. Well I am on the list for another operation in January or februari. To be honest I am glad because I was kind of frightend that there might not be a solution. They are going te do an anterior fusion of L2-L3. L3- L4 is probably not possible. The movement does not have to be big to cause the trouble I am having because I have a lot of scartissue on the nervers and dura. He said it is just a little and that can cause movement can give trouble. It finaly is my choice because prommises can not be given. It is only a minor operation compared to the opertion the last time. I beleve that because of all the back operations I had the flatback correction is the worst!. Now I have to get my insurance to pay again, they probably will but I have to get it on paper again. Thanks for listning, Yolanda > > > > Hi there, > > I was doubting if i should write, because it always feels like complaining. But then again it feel good to share. > > I had my second flatback surgery in Germany febuary this year wich was a rough time. After six months I finaly felt a lot better, was able to walk, stand still and straight, had no loss of control of my legs anymore. Something happend, I had more pain for a while suposingly because I do more and have got rid of my brace. Last week I went for a little walk and my legs felt " funny " I knew the feeling but just kind of pushed it away and walked on. I got home but by that time I had lost controle of lifting my hips and knees, it took about 3 days to return leaving a left leg not realy doing as i say and huge power loss. Now today it happend again am lying on my bed about the whole day to recover again. I cryed because this is not normal and I have had this before my operation (oh no, not again!!!). I still have movement in my spine so I suppose it has something to do with it. I was suposed to have a anterior surgrey but they said it probably was not nessesary. Now I hope they will still be able to fix it... > > The 30 th of Novemeber I have an appointment again. I have fought so hard (like a lot of you have) Now I keep thinking : " please do not let it all be for nothing...
