Guest guest
Thank you for responding. If I hadn't been so stunned and hurt I probably would have told her how it made me feel. I told her I felt like we all had our crosses we've been given to bare. Before I could continue she'd cut me off quoting all kinds of scripture. I only half listened because she was on a "war path". Anyway, she most of gone of telling others because she came back a few days later and appologized. Thank you for your concern. At least I didn't go off on her and let the Lord do his work and set her straight in His own time. Take care.... margo From: keistador <linda.robison@...>Subject: Re: Healing Hands Date: Monday, April 6, 2009, 11:10 AM Dear Margo, I'm new to the group and read your story. I'm sorry this happened. I too have a Christian dependant Aunt who we all say 'means well'. Here's what I think. Why not just respond with how the comment makes you feel. "That was really hurtful, offensive and ridiculous." If she continues tell her to stop...I don't want to hear it. Keep it simple and speak from your heart and be true to yourself. Something to consider.Regards,
