Guest guest
I get 100-200 of these a day. The headers are spoofed. The Swen and Dumaru (gotta love that name) worms are responsible for this. If your email address is in the address books of people who do not keep their computers updated with MS patches, you are doomed to getting all this garbage. You can cut down on it by setting your Rules Wizard to screen out mail that has in the subject line phrases employed by these worms. I suspect that the sender is harvesting the mails from our members addresses and this problem could have the same source. I have not seen reports in the press here (UK)and wonder if any of you are getting, up to thirty virus attacks, daily?BTW there is a great little free download program, "Mailwasher" which can download headers for inspection/blacklist/deletion, before a lengthy download.Regards .
