Guest guest
I am new to this group and I usually just sit back and read others entries. This time; however, I would like to be involved in the group. I have had 4 surgeries in 3 years. I live in Austin and after my 1st 3 surgeries, my doctor told me he did not know how to help me any more. I saw several other ENTs in the area and not one of them could give me an answer as to what was going on. I finally found a group at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. They knew immediately that I have Sampter's. I had a surgery the beginning of January and went through aspirin desensitization a few weeks later. I was feeling a bit better until 3-4 weeks ago. I believe I caught a virus and it has been down hill from there. I cannot smell, my ears keep getting full, which makes me sick to my stomach. I am feeling a bit discouraged. I am hoping that you all might have some insight. I can't say that I feel good that there are others out there experiencing this, but it is nice to be understood. I feel for my family because they have to hear that I do not feel well, way too often, and they can't possibly understand. Thank you, Debra
