Guest guest
A while back someone was wondering if a person can be desensed to alcohol. I'll just give you my experience and you can take it from there. Up until 1 year ago, I drank beer 5 nights a week to numb my frontal pressure headaches. I had no reprocussions from drinking, as long as I kept it under 5 in a 3-5 hr period. In the last year, due to a secondary type of headache I only drink about once a month. Now when I drink, I get diarhea, migraine like wrap around headaches, a horrible taste in my mouth the next day. I feel really bad from it. So, in my opinion, I would say that the answer is yes for getting desensed to it. I did not realize how allergic I was to it till this last year. In fact, I was surprised over the years when people said how bad alcohol made them feel. Once they get my secondary headache figured out (I see a neurologist this week) then I will probably try to desense to it again to avoid taking other drugs for headaches. It use to work beautifully for frontal pressure headaches. Just my thoughts. Tami
