Long time member...i have had 5 surgurys, and the past 8 years my ENT

has been removing my polyops in his office with a snare.Sometimes

6 0r7 at a time.

I statred Avamys 8 months ago and there has been no polyop growth.

and parts of my smell have returned...1st time in 13 years.

I would have bouts of nasel discharge that would consume a box of tissue

in one evening...i now rarely blow my nose.

Iam also on Singular,reactine....ia just wondering if anyone else has had

experience with Avamys

Regards

Avamys is the same as Veramyst -

Fluticasone furoate is a synthetic corticosteroid derived from fluticasone,

marketed by GlaxoKline as Veramyst (US) and Avamys (EU and Canada) for the

treatment of allergic rhinitis.

It is supposedly one of the most effective nasal corticosteroids to keep polyps

at bay.

I have had pretty good luck with it keeping my polyps down, as long as I stay

away from things I'm allergic to that aggravates my sinuses.
