Indeed.

Some newer members here may not be aware of Lori or of her incredible

contribution to this group,

starting 8 years ago, with a post that is still as pertinent as it was then:

1,350 posts later, Lori signed off, needing to deal with more profound

medical issues:

Every one of her postings was literate, carefully crafted, cogent, unbiased,

and objective. As a contributor and moderator, she is probably the biggest

single reason that this group matured and sustained itself as a serious

forum dedicated to its suffering members, without diversions into politics,

commericalism, religion, chain letters, or missing children.

Given her contritbution, and her current challenges, seeing her thow a pitch

across the plate at Yankee Stadium was, for me, gratifying in the extreme.
