Late last week I had a very sharp piercing pain in the back of my head and then sweats and loss of stability, I wrote my primary a letter describing the event in great detail. My primary is also my kidney guy. Well I am to report to his office first thing this AM to be fitted with a 24hr BP monitoring device. Now this brings me back to the surgery thing, he took the position that until the tumor reaches 4cm that surgery was not in my future, Dr. Grimm stated that most tumors are around 1cm when extracted. Mine is 1.4 x 1.3 and has been very stable in size, but I fear that it is getting more active. Is there a guideline or research study that can be downloaded so I can show the Dr. and have him rethink his position? What did your AVS sampling show? In the old days most were above 1 cm. No we see them smaller because we can see them with CT etc. Had you had a salt binge? What did your BP do? How much Inspra are you on? How many times a day? Many seem to need it twice a day. May your pressure be low! Dr. Clarence E. Guest guest
Carl There is a copy in the files. I used it before surgery twice and had no major problems(Nov and Dec 2006). Maybe a bit of extra bleeding. A little slower to heal but well worth it as I did not have to go through desens again. Marcus
Guest guest
It is in the files. There is also a post from someone who followed it before sinus surgery. That account convinced me to go off of aspirin three weeks before a major surgery. Guest guest
Marcus, Thanks. I'm kinda new to the group and didn't think to look there. Steps 4, 5, and 6 are missing some info. Can you fill me in? Glad it worked well for you. Carl > > Carl > There is a copy in the files. I used it before surgery twice and had no major > problems(Nov and Dec 2006). Guest guest
I have had sinus surgery on the aspirin protocol following the guidelines, and it went fine for me, did not notice any extra bleeding. My surgeon wasn't happy about it, but it was okay. Lori > > Carl > There is a copy in the files. I used it before surgery twice and had no major > problems(Nov and Dec 2006).
