I am also looking into it and just found out that they are doing it as an out-patient. Did your allergist say anything about doing the desens. where you live - in the hospital? It seems like it isn't that hard to do if you are in the hospital under strict supervision. I was trying to figure out which way would be cheaper. I did a desens. myself this past fall and stayed at 325mg a day for a couple of months before I stopped.
