Guest guest
Hi Lori, The 'forte' is what requires the script here but in the States I couldn't really say if you need a script or not. Yes it does contain parecetamol which luckily I can take, aspirin unfortunately not so. It's amazing really, over a year ago I'd never heard of Samters but now I've learned so much from this forum, more than the years I've been undergoing treatment from a specialist. At the moment I'm having enough problems recurring to warrant yet another visit to the doctor who I know will just throw me onto prednisone again. I keep waking in the early hours of the morning with my asthma and the last few nights sinus as well although during the day absolutely nothing. It's always the same though, I wake up fine, then I can feel myself heating up and if I don't turn the fan on to cool down it's always an asthma attack. My sense of smell has also gone again too. I remember my ENT telling me that if this happened to double my Nasonex dose which I have. I still say my problem is environmental but I'm putting that to the test this weekend when I go away to a totally different area. Cheers POTENTIAL SPAM /meds Ah yes I am in the States -- I cannot find what Panadol Forte is, but Panadol does have parecetamol in it, which is acetaminophen or Tylenol. Some people with Samters can take it, others cannot. I think Tami might be sensitive to it as well. We have something similar over the counter, at least before the " forte " part. Thanks for the additional info! It is good to remember we're from all different parts of the world, and there are different things available by different names. Thanks for reminding me.
