Sinus Surgery - type recommendation

Hi All! It's spring and the Tree pollen is out in full force here western

Pennsylvania. Which just adds to my personal misery. After getting a 2nd

opinion and a recommendation that surgery is the best option, well ok... chalk

this up for number 7. My delema is that all my previous surgeries were done by

Dr. Schein through the nose. As you can tell I still have recurrance.

My new ENT may want to try going through my gumline (which scares me!) My

friend had surgery this way and now every once in a while her sinus' leak

through to her mouth. Ugh.

My question is -- Has anyone else had polyp removal surgery through their mouth

with little or no side effects?
