Guest guest
Yes, As I have posted previously on this site, I use Xolair. For me, it has been the "miracle treatment." Prior to Xolair I had ASA desens, surgery, nasal rinses at least 2x per day, singlulair, advair, albuterol, nasal steriods. I was on and off pred. Got plenty of relief from the pred, but because of the side effects, didn't want to stay on it long-term. Despite these treatments sense of smell whatever and down about 40% in lung capacity and it was still declining. I never had the sinus infections, fatigue, etc. that many of the members of this group complain of. Then, I took Xolair. Within a month my lung capacity had improved markedly and I could smell again. I no longer have any nasal polyps. None. The very, very serious downside of Xolair is that it is expensive...almost $48,000 per year at my dosage. And, it is a treatment, not a cure.
