Guest guest
Diane that's great news and thanks for the information. I'll have to check if Flovent is available here. My ENT is totally against desensitization so this could be a way to go. Hope things continue to stay clear for you. POTENTIAL SPAM update I haven't visited this site in a while, but wanted to update everyone on what's been happening since my last visit. I had surgery #4 last March. Shortly afterward, polyps were back. I found a doctor near the university that did aspirin desensitization, and went to see him. Insead of doing desensitization, he has me using Flovent in my nose. Started out using it twice daily, and have just reduced it to once daily. Saw the doc last month, and not only have the polyps not grown, they can barely see them! I'm thrilled!!! I have been able to taste and smell for over a year, now. Only time I've had problems is when I had sinusitis. The doctor is very pleased with my progress and sees no need for aspirin desensitization as long as this treatment is working. This is fine with me---one less pill to take! (<: Anyway, thought I'd share a success story. I know very well that this may not be permanent, and the Flovent could cease being effective at any time. It's happened with other medications. But I sure am enjoying it while it lasts!! Hope someone else can use the info to get the same kind of relief I've been searching for for 30 years!!
