Guest guest
I live in a Northwest suburb of Chicago and although I have an ENT and allergist that are " just fine " , I wouldn't mind finding other professionals that can offer some new advice and potentially help with some alternative therapies. Does anyone out there in Chicagoland have an ENT, allergist or some alternative practitioner that they love, who is knowledgeable about nasal polyps and has offered good sound advice that has actually helped?? I have polyps that are virtually entirely blocking one of my nasal passages--is the only good plan of attack to do surgery first, and then any therapy would serve to slow the polyps return? Has anyone had success with a therapy that actually shrunk polyps " for good " , thus eliminating the need for surgery? If surgery is inevitable maybe I should just schedule it for some convenient time and get it over with. Thanks very much for any information you can share!
