Guest guest
The sparks you see may be in your left visual field, not your left eye. Close your left eye. You may still see them. In fact, sometimes they are present with your eyes closed. If that is what you are seeing, it is a scintillating scotoma. This is not related to samter's. The scotoma is often followed by a headache. If you are just seeing flashing lights, you should see your opthmalogist. If you have the scintillating scotoma, you should discuss it with your physician, these are classic migraine with aura. > > This isn't really a samters question but may be related. I've been seeing a white spark (reminds me of the sparkle you see on a lake with the sun shining on it). I see it in the far left side of my left eye. I don't see it always. Probably a few times a day. Has anyone had this? I recently took a 10 day dose of Biaxin. Could it be related? Also take 2-3 tabs of demerol a week for the last couple of years. > Thanks, > Tami in Wis. >
