Thanks so much Tami -- yes the numbness is especially a concern. I

am hoping the CT scan was enough for this but I just don't know.

The funny thing is, the doc who sent me home originally on my first

visit to the ER after doing NOTHING except prescribe an antibiotic

was a " famous " infectious disease specialist! The doctor on call

that night told me that.

My fever has gone up and down ... will see my PCP tomorrow, who I

really trust. Obviously if I get worse again tonight it's back off

to the ER.

Thank you for the offer of the phone call! That's really sweet. I

am not much for talking because my mouth hurts so my hubby is

handling all the phone calls right now. But I will keep it in mind.

And I am very very fortunate to have an understanding husband -- I

know it is rare.
