Guest guest
Hi All! I have spinal stenosis in my lower back (lumbar) and the neck, and I've been looking and looking for the one thing or exercise that will relieve my back pain at least for a little while, and I finally found it!!!!! I've been seeing the advertisements on tv for the Teeter Inversion Table or Decompression Table, or whatever it's called, where the guy hangs upside down on it. And it's horribly expensive!!! Well, we got our internal revenue money back and DH said he was going to buy that for me so I'm not in as much pain. It's supposed to decompress the spine. Well, online it's anywhere from $369 on up, plus a minimum of $80 shipping! NO WAY!!! But he was going to get it for me anyway. I told him to wait, that I'd rather find a place locally that has it where I can try it just to make sure I don't freak out when I go upside down. :-[ <:-| We found a place that is about an hour away, and we decided it was worth the gas and time to go there. DH called and asked if I could try it out, and the gentleman said definitely! So we went to 's Bike Shop in Ephrata, PA, and I tried it out. Well, it felt like I was upside down a little bit, but DH said that I was flat. And then I did go down more, and it felt sooooooooooo good, just those couple minutes of doing it. I could actually FEEL it working on my spine!!!!! =-O So we bought it, for $299!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they said if we want anything else, just let them know (there's a heated vibrating cushion for it that I want, maybe for Christmas that goes on it) and they'll get it for us at a discount! Meanwhile, customer service was GREAT!! They showed us how it comes apart for storage or moving, and they put it in the car for us, and it was just such a good experience that I couldn't wait till I told all of you about it! Now it's set up in my diningroom and I use it before going to work and after I get home from work. On my days off I imagine I'll be on it every time I get a little hint of pain. It's really fun! But watch the video first before doing it, not like I did. That tells you the right way and EASY way to do it! It's so cool! I love it!!!!! And DH is out of the doghouse for a LONG time thanks to him insisting on getting this for me!!!! I highly recommend it to everyone!!!!!! Now I just need a tv installed upside down for when I'm on it! LOL! Looking forward to less pain! Barb in PA
