I too was overtaken by a Facebook virus that guised itself as a game. i have been working with techs for four days now. It was a doosey for sue. Im worried about identity theft.

She must have given out her e-mail password to someone.When this scam hit here last year, their trick was to pretend they were theISP and they threatedned to cancel the account unless the customer confirmedtheir p/w. Once they have the p/w, they go into the account, change thep/w, and do whatever mischief they want, such as sending out these bogustravel-disaster pleas. Recently I was notified by Walgreen's, the drug store chain, that their

e-mail system had been hacked into, so I been expecting to experience

something similar to what you've just described.

That's a good example of why it's a good idea to use a p/w for websites

different from your e-mail p/w.
