Guest guest
I had my desens on April 23rd through April 25th in Madison,WI. I had a session on Prednisone prior to that and that reduced the polyps significantly. Am now taking 650mg of aspirin a day. For the first 4 weeks after desens I felt great. No rhinitis nor polyps nor inhaler usage. But now its back to the rhinitis and polyp(s). I see a huge one in right nostril. (Actually purchased a cheap lighted scope from Walgreens to look inside). Now I am somewhat disappointed in the return of some of the symptoms. But I am glad that I can now take aspirin and benefit from that with no known ill effects. Another dis-appointing part was my bill from the physicians. They charged $750 a day for the giving of the aspirin and stopping in to check on me. My Blue Cross paid 80% of it. All the other charges were reduced by Blue Cross contractually on the PPO contract. Does this $2,250(3 days) seem high? I have learned a tremendous amount from this site. Thank you to all of you.
