benefits or risks of taking antibiotics and prednisone together

Has anyone taken a three week course of prednisone and antibiotics

(Augmentin)? My ENT suggested this and then a CT Scan to see how good

she could get me before deciding to go forward with surgery and then

perhaps desenstitization.

Has anyone done this combination? I was on antiobiotics for 4 months

from March-July with no results and am hesitant to compromise my imune

system yet again.....

any thoughts...
