, I take Xoliar shots twice monthly and this is the first pollen season that I have been able to function a normal life. Since starting the shots I have not had the allergy problems that existed before the shots. They are expensive but Cigna covers them except for the $30 copay. Each syringe cost between $350 and $500 depending on the amount of medicine you need. I take three syringes twice a month and it works for me. It also helped with my asthma before my polyps were removed. My ENT is going back in for the second time in three weeks on the 8th. He said that I have a large debrie field to clean up. I have been doing the saline rinses but I have a lot of waste still up there that needs to come out. I didn't corperate that well with him trying to clean it out in his office so he is taking me back to clean it out with me asleep. Now back to the Xolair. Before starting the shots I could not do any work in my yard but

now I am able to do a lot more than before. I can pot and plant as much as I desire to and not have the sneezing and wheezing. Hi Ken,I would add to your list of things to do to stay away from the knife:* Plenty of sleep (#1 on my list, the more sleep, the better my sense of smell)* Plenty of time outdoors in fresh air* Avoid highly stressful situations* Eat lightly* Plenty of moderate exercise such as walking (no strenuous exercise).By the way, I have not been desensitized and Singulair made me sick.
