Allergist visit

I thought after 12 years of this disease that Doctors might have learned more since then. Now that I am very sick again, I realize that they know less than ever. Most of the ENTs and especially Allergists I've dealt with are circumspect about aspirin treatment and won't advocate it for their patients.

I do think allergists can be important for food allergy testing, but you don't necessarily need to go to an allergist to get that testing.I am also allergic to corn, and you should note that corn is in so many things -- it could really be contributing to your symptoms. YOu have to be careful NEVER to get dextrose solution if you have to go to the hospital. It's made with corn sugar!I am also allergic to strawberries and molds -- allergies can develop over time, so although you could get a second opinion, I don't see what good it would do. But for this many allergies, shots seem a pretty stupid idea, in my humble opinion.Your doctor clearly does not understand what aspirin desensitization is for, but this is not unusual among doctors. In fact, it's extremely unusual to find anyone who DOES know what it can do. You need to find someone who specifically does aspirin desensitization

for Samters. In the database here on the o group there is a listing. Lori>> Well yesterday I had my long awaited visit with my allergist and I> just feel totally dumped.
