So great to hear it went well for you. I’ve come to the

conclusion that it’s just not possible to have it done here and am even

seriously considering coming over to the States to have it done.

Subject: thankyou all!

Way back in July I posted a despairing notice after my first, painful

polypectomy. A couple of people (Mike and ) told me that I could get

desense at my local hospital. Well I approached the doctor, and to cut a long

story short, underwent densense, which to quote my doctor has been " life

changing for me,a great success!

Thankyou all so,so much.By the way,my dr thinks its hilarious that I found out

about him on this forum. I think he may have joined us!

Awesome . I agree this thread has really educated me as well as offered a great deal of support during the low times of having samters. it's nice to know that others go through the same things as I have - since no one else around me really gets it. Bianca

Good to hear that & I helped you along the path to managing your Samters condition. I'm still waiting to give desense a try - MRSA has stood in the way. I had a reasonable summer, apart from 5 hospital admisssions to finally get my gall bladder removed and the complictions resolved, but this time of the year seems bad for my congestion here in a very wet England just at the mo.

Anyway a good news story is always a welcome post on this site

Best wishes and pleased we have collectively helped

Mike

PS - What dosage of aspirin are you now taking?

Hi mike,

Sorry to hear about the MRSA. My mother contracted it after her op, it can take awhile to get rid of. Hope you are feeling better pain-wise.

I am taking a full asprin a day now. I started off with 1/6 of a soluble tablet and had a terrible rash and asthma attacks, but after only a week I could tollerate a full tablet.

Best wishes for your desense hopfully soon.

Hi Becky,

Yes, I see Dr Nasser too, are you taking part in his study in finding a cure, it's quite facinating?

He asked me who recommended him on the forum. I told him "a lady called ". He said he knew you!

Thanks again

Hi ,

Well, another great news this week ! Keep watching out for allergies,

triggers, and infections.

If you see your doctor again, please do tell him that he is welcome to

contribute.
