Guest guest
I just found this site, so please forgive me if I am redundent. I am scheduled for surgery on the 2nd of May. This will be my 4th sinus surgery. The first was for polyps, the second for scar tissue, the third for a frontal sinus abcess, and now this one for a 10 month sinus infection. I am growing quite weary of rounds of prednisone and antibiotics. Recently, I seem to be developing a reaction to antibiotics. Although my immunologist has given me a tentative diagonsis of Samter's (as I have now developed asthma along with the polyps), I have not yet developed aspirin sensitivity. I am diligently taking my Singulair and using my inhalers (Seravent, Flovent), Rhinocort and daily irrigations. Does it ever get any better?
