Guest guest
After 3 rounds of prednisone and 2 rounds of antibiotics - my ENT scoped my right sinus cavities and all is clear - for now. My left is clear all the way to the frontal, but he can't see the frontal on the right side. This side continues to plague me with infections. He said that there is a new procedure (After 4 surgeries I am a bit tired of procedures) that uses a balloon to open up the bone to the frontal and ethmoid sinus cavities and improve drainage. My insurance company will not yet pay for the procedure, so I am on a waiting list. This is supposed to be much less invasive and not add as significantly to the scar tissue I already have. Has anybody else heard of this and if so, has it been effective?
