I was just wondering if the gunk may come out easier if we wore a breathe right strip. I'm going to try it.

Gunk

I irrigate twice a day every day, I still get a lot of gunk that does not come out and makes it hard to breath. I use baking soda and sea salt when I irrigate. Is there any other solution I should use or and other recommendations?

Ken,

You are such a character. Newcomers, please do not be offended by Kens responses. I'm sure his sarcasm is in good humor. Right Ken? Anyway, for some reason, I'd like to know what you look like. I've pictured you with about a hundred different faces depending on your various responses to things. Oh, and please don't email me back and tell me to stick to the issues, (humor). So post your picture please.

And I am sure many people, including myself, sign up for email messages and never really get on the Message board itself.

there's a lot of sarcasm on this board, from the " old "

timers to the newer folks that's often insulting and

not in good fun, as Tami offers. Advise, mentor, offer

suggestions, but don't belittle those who don't have

10 years of Samter's experience. Besides, Ken,

sometimes when you post links to your all powerful

library, the links come up as not available.

If this is a huge problem- perhaps you could try using a nasal nebulizer adapter and using some mucomyst with normal saline several times a day prior to irrigation and see if this doesn't help. I am thinking about doing it myself. The mucous in Samter's is incredibly thick and difficult to irrigate out plus the added problem of the polyps which don't have any cilia on them. I think the mycomyst might help. Carol
