What is the difference between Vit D and Vit D 25?? Melinda 29: 11 "For I know the plans I have for you", says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. "From: N Ls <novalanceseghi@...>samters Sent: Mon, May 23, 2011 5:43:29 PMSubject: Vitamin D25(OH)

Has anyone else had their D25(OH) levels tested? I came up as severely deficient, and wonder if this might be another clue?

When I was tested a few years ago, my D25 hydroxy level was 29.0 The normal

range is 32-100 ng/ML. I was put on 50,000 units of D, three times a week until

my levels came back up. Once they got to a reading of 88 I have been on 50,000

units of D, once per week, PLUS 1200 units daily of D PLUS, whatever D that I

get from my normal diet and getting out in the sun in Florida. I was also told

to take 1000 units of B-12 three times a week to help maintain my D levels.

My levels of D, and other things, are checked twice a year now. I can't actually

say that I had experienced any specific health problem when I had low D levels.
