Guest guest
I have been a member for a few months now but mainly reading the posts. I would just like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. This is my favourite night of the year but as an " empty nester " in a new country I am on my own. To all the rest of us on our own.....enjoy your memories mixed with the odd tear..put on the radio for company and email or phone your old or new friends. They would all love to hear from you. Hopefully next year we will all be in better control of our symptoms. Love to you all. Maggie
Guest guest
Maggie thankyou for that lovely post. I too know what it’s like being in a new area, not knowing anybody and being alone. My heart goes out to those people who are alone, or for those who have lost a loved one. Who knows, next year but be OUR year when they find that miracle pill for a cure. Ok so I’m a dreamer haha. Merry Christmas everyone and and safe journeying for those of you who are traveling. For those of you who are alone, just go by what Maggie has said, remember the good times and the sad but whatever it is you prefer to do, enjoy yourselves. Guest guest
Love and best wishes to you all from a "full nester" who dreams of a good night's sleep and a bit of peace!!!!! I love listening to the radio to hear the carols on classic fm (England). AND, you'll never guess, but I woke up this morning with a sense of smell and just ate a wonderful breakfast washed down with fresh coffee that I tasted!! It is a wonderful Christmas present - in fact, it's the only thing I asked for!!!! I hope it lasts the whole day, and have no idea how it could have happened today of all days!! Merry Christmas to you all, Love Becky xx Jane Marino <janesmarino@...> wrote: Love and best wishes to you too Maggie! Merry Christmas.
