Me too! I agree if your ENT Dr. can cut out small polyps in the office, then go for it! It is so much easier than the full knock out surgery.

More evidence that polyps grow back more quickly in Samterites than with

Normalites.

Surgery is one option, but clearly temporary.

Diet is another, but how tedious!

Desensitization yet another, but imperfect, not the magic bullet.

Maybe there is a magic bullet, and if there is, I know I'll see it first on

this group.

Hello , (I think you're only the second Torontonian on board) -- it's

good that your doctor knew Samters from a hole-in-the-ground, but does he

have any suggestions other than cutting?

To garyreed@..., if you could share information on the team of doctors in

Monreal you referred to, I will seek a consultation as I regularly go back home

in Canada and pass through Mtl. As an old-timer with Samters, I remember that

the many ENT specialists I used to consult when I lived in different Canadian

cities (Toronto, Mtl, Ottawa, Calgary and Quebec) always regonized our triad

condition easily and usually referred to it as the Syndrome of Fernand Widal -

the name of the 1st doctor (French I believe) who discouvered the triad relation

at the beginning of the 1900's (there is a hospital in France dealing with

Santers/Widal cases - it also deals with toxicology). Dr Samters did more in the

1960's or so.
