Guest guest
Hit the wrong button...sorry! Anyway...I found you can get 25g fiber in a cereal called Fiber One. Just one serving at 60 calories provides it and it is not bad...especially with yogurt over it. Trudy. The daily recommendation of dietary fiber for a 2000 calorie diet is 25 g. You will only get that in a very balanced diet. I now supplement with a teaspoon of Metamucil in an 8 oz. glass of water before retiring. It only provides 3 g, and I should do it more often, but it makes a world of difference and is good for the cells in the intestine lining where the immune system kicks up. You may already be doing this.
