Guest guest
Well we just go back from our very first well baby care visit. I am not for these things honestly but we switched doctors to one who is more open minded to vaccination choice and other things we have choosen to do (and not do) for our kids. So I agreed to bring the kids in on an individual bases so she could meet them and get all the info and talk with them. She felt it best so if they should get sick they are not afraid of her. She had a point and well so I agreed. I was pleased when the nurse brought us in to the exam room and said you are not going to vaccinate right? I said yes and she said great ( really she actually said great) and took the measurements and weight and left to get the doctor who came in again asked if I was going to vaccinate I said no she then just asked me to sign a paper saying that she had talked to me about vaccination and that I was declining them for my son. That was it. I was armed and ready for any arguement she might have wanted to give me in hopes to change my mine in vaccinating the kids. We had talked about it when we interviewed her but I wasnt so sure she would be saying the same thing when I brought the kids in. So I am really happy to have found her and my hubbby is happy our insurance covers everything and the kids love her since she doesnt wear as they put it " one of those stinky white coats that make my belly feel like it has butterflies in it " *L* Mommy to Brittney, , Chelsea, Cody and
