My DD went through the detox as well! She is a wonderful women!

Welcome! I'm too (we'll have to do our last innitials!) with a 3.5

year old as well. You are so lucky in so many ways to have found out the

truth about vaccinations before it was too late. Keep on preaching. The

more people hear our side, and from people with " credibility " the more it

will become more mainstream to question the norm. It really pisses me off

how people will shrug off my " hippy " friend's non vac. positions, but when

they find out I don't vaccinated either they comment on " well there must be

some credibility to her reasons. She's got a master's degreee and is a

teacher. " Very lame. But I am open to everyone about it as well as

extended nursing and family bed. How can it become the norm when people are

still hiding the facts? I am also lucky to not be in a state that it is

difficult to be a nonvaccinator or be in circumstances where CPS is involved

where one needs to be a little more discreet..

My name is . I am a very attached mama to my 3.5 yo precious DD

nna. We live in Central Long Island, NY, and we are having a VERY hard

time finding a ped that believes in my " alternative " ways. Here is the

scoop......

My DD was delivered by unnecessary C-sec on 9/20/96. I know better now, but

that's a whole other story

She was breastfed from day one, and always in arms. She still nurses a few

times a week, she is slowly weaning, and nursing her these past years has

been a joy I will NEVER forget! She also still requests the sling and is in

it at stores or just to rest after a tough day..all 35 pounds of her We

share a family bed, minus the hubby, and always have. She has always had a

wonderful diet of raw, natural foods, NO added sugars etc. She is vegetarian

by choice, always has been, I am not, even though I would like to be!

I have been separated for 2.5 years, her father, still my husband, is a good

friend still, and is a big part of her life. We are still married, but that's

another long story!

My DD was vaxed on schedule until her 12 month MMR. I am ashamed that I was

so blind to her problems before I was further educated

At her first appt, (12 days old) she was given her first Hep B. She was dx

with an URI 7 days later, she was also dx with Colic at that time.

at 2 months, HIB, DPT, OPV, HEP B #2, all in the same appt. She was VERY

irritable within 4 hours, 103 fever (we were told was normal, and she was

premed. w/ Tylenol.)

at 4 months, HIB, DPT, OPV, all in same appt., refusing to nurse, 103 fever

(after premed., high pitched screaming, nursing strike was a terrible 2 week

period. runny nose lasting 2 weeks as well.

at 6 months, HEP B #3, HIB, DPT, OPV, all in same appt. 104 fever (after

premed) couldn't do milestones reached, lethargic, 1 week later: dx bilateral
