Guest guest
Agree with a good bit of your posts, but why does it say " pagan, athiest, and other " religions " " ? As if they aren't religions? They are. And just as valid as Christianity. Guest guest
, I just wanted to tell you that I felt your post regarding the quote from Janet Reno was very appropriate for this list. It is this kind of anti-Christian bigotry and intolerance for anyone else's " choice " (except their own) that permeates the current administration. That is why they get so fiercely angry when we call ourselves the " pro-choice vaccination " group. It reveals the incredible depths of their true bigotry. Choice and the freedom to choose is a " right " as long as it is their choice and doesn't interfere with the progress of their political agenda. It is this same arrogance that allows them to say " we know better than the parents what is best for the children " . To me the most frightening comment was " ......... but certainly more than one of these would cause us to look at this person as a threat and his family as being in a risk situation that qualified for government interference. " Very soon this same mentality will allow them to say a parent who chooses not to vaccinate is a threat and is putting his family in a risk situation that qualifies them for government interference. (Permission to mandate and control.) They must try to eliminate that " Christian Spirit this nation was founded on " . They can't eliminate it, so they try to silence it......... in the name of tolerance. What a joke. Don't worry about offending. You just keep right on expressing your beliefs. And we will protect everyone else's freedom to express their opinion as well. Christians are the only group that Janet Reno could talk about like this and not stir up a national outcry of rage. Why is it that everyone else has the " right to free speech " except Christians? This really amazes me. Christians need to understand that the bill of rights guarantees their freedom of speech and their religious freedom as well as that of pagans, atheists and any other " religion " . I have to delete plenty of secular and new age stuff that I don't agree with. Anyone who understands the American Constitution will also understand that freedom of expression does not take offense to your expression of faith.................... they just hit the delete key , but fight for your right to express yourself. Thanks for the information. Patti Fw: (off topic, but pertinent)Me? A Cultist? Below is a quote from Janet Reno which does not surprise me. I feel sad for Janet Reno because of her ignorance of the Truth. As the Lord Jesus said, " Forgive them for they do not know what they do " . She does not know what she is saying. confessed in retrospect that he was in his ignorance that he persecuted the Church (Jesus) as is with Janet Reno. Hard to believe this country was founded on Christian beliefs and principals, and yet the below summarizes the position of the top law enforcement officer in the US, expressed on national TV. Statement from Janet Reno: " A cultist is one who has a strong belief in the Bible and the Second Coming of Christ; who frequently attends Bible studies; who has a high level of financial giving to a Christian cause; who homeschools for their children; who has accumulated survival foods and has strong belief in the Second Amendment; and who distrusts big government. Any of these may qualify a person as a cultist but certainly more than one of these would cause us to look at this person as a threat and his family as being in a risk situation that qualified for government interference. " Janet Reno, Attny. General, USA Interview on 60 Minutes - June 26 Do you qualify? Are you (as defined by the US Attorney General) a threat? This concerns me. Does it bother you? Everyone in this country - " The land of the free " - with computer access should copy this and send to every other man, woman and child who can read. Guest guest
can we stop this fight over religions now, please! this list is about vaccinations! heather had a point, since the original message was somewhat very christian oriented, and since in the meantime, the original message appears to be a hoax, please stop this ranting about religions. i believe when it comes to issues such as vaccinations, where children's lives are at stake, we should forget about our personal differences and get together in the belief we have in common! claudia --- Tauwillow@... wrote: > From: Tauwillow@... > > In a message dated 7/15/1999 2:19:24 PM Central > Daylight Time, > rpwhitey@... writes: > > << Christians need to understand that the bill of > rights > guarantees their freedom of speech and their > religious > freedom as well as that of pagans, atheists and any > other > " religion " . >> > > If you had bothered to read further down the list > you would have noticed that > the quote posted was a hoax. Guest guest
I believe that we are all on this list because vaccinations are mandatory for school children. This is part of government control of our lives. The government looks at us as tax generating slaves that can be filed, injected with whatever they wish, and ordered around. I will remind you about the syphilis experiments on black soldiers by the government. Agent orange and gulf war syndrome. These things were done to GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES. If the government is willing to jeopardize the health and safety of it's own people, where does that leave us sheeple? In that light, the quote on Janet Reno is acceptable to the list. As far as if the quote was a hoax, what difference does that make? Janet Reno approved the attack on the religious compound where 80 children were burned to death while fire trucks were prohibited by the FBI & BATF from assisting the victims and extinguishing the blaze. So does it matter what Janet Reno has ever said? The ashes of 80 innocent children are the result of her order. What if one of your children was in that compound and died by fire (one of the most painful ways to die)? Would you even wish that on your worst enemy? Nough said. Guest guest
Well, I guess I am going to open up another can of worms, but here goes. If we stick to the topic of vaccinations (an issue we all agree on or this list wouldn't exist), then there shouldn't be any analyzing, dissecting, or arguing someone else's thoughts, beliefs, or opinions. If we are going to relate everything to our children's health, benefit and welfare in one way or another, we might just as well open this list up to any topic since they all can be related to health by one way or another. Remember the juice thing? It is obvious that each person on this list is very passionate and loving toward their children. We are supposed to be united under one issue, not divided by many. There are more appropriate places in the Internet to voice opinions, ideals and beliefs. I joined a nonvaccination list. Take care, Alice
