Hi everyone....

That article on DPT really pulled at my heart strings. It's really sad

when someone isn't informed on all the risk and they see their once healthy

son become brain damaged from a reaction....and you can't count on the

gov't for compensation...I don't think any amt. of money can make up for

what happened to their son. Sad.

Now that they stopped using the DPT (I hear that doc's are using up the

last of their stock...wouldn't want to waste money, if you kwim!) and have

replaced it with the DTaP...I hear that side effects have significantly

decreased, being that it is acellular and not 'live'....being a new

vaccine, I still don't trust it. I wouldn't want my child to become part

of the 'statistics' if some mistake were made, as the DTP.

I can't believe they are going door to door asking for vaccine records or

exemption forms in replacement....don't they have anything better to do

with there time?! They'll be sure to get an 'attitude' from me if they

come knockin' on my door...you can count on it!!!

In the state of Georgia, you can only exempt medically or religously. I'm

not 'religous' by any means, but I claim that it is my 'god given right' to

not vaccinate my son. I sure hope that'll do the trick. I have heard of

cases where the DFACS filed 'negligent mother' when one refused

vaccinations. Whatever happened to freedom of choice? Seems as if they

are going to great lengths for this so called 'herd immunity'...but what

they don't realize is that if vaccines were as effective as they claimed;

unvaccinated children would only pose a risk to themselves. How can we do

real research if there isn't two control groups: one vaccinated and the

other vaccine free...to see the effects short term and long term? I'm

willing to put my childs fate in the hands of mama nature....I think she

knows better than any doc or scientist. I could handle my child falling

ill with a disease (that's life, it happens)...but if my son was

permanately scarred or DEAD from a vaccine reaction (like that article) I

don't know how I could live with myself.

BTW: , A vaccine friendly doctor here in Atlanta is Dr. Abrams...I

went though alot to find him and he is very open minded. For anyone

looking in Atlanta, search no more!!
