" for those who may remember) and I normally only read the notices sent out, but just had to jump in on this one. Firstly I'd just like to say that a " cult " or " cultist " has many different definitions. Anyone possessing an extreme belief in any one particular issue will more than likely be dubbed as a " cultist " at some point in their life. " Cultist " has become nothing more than a derogatory term for people who differ from the mainstream of society. Ms. Reno's statement is absurd, and I somehow doubt many people are going to be running around accusing every Christian with a distrust of the government a " cultist " . As someone who follows an alternative religion with beliefs that directly conflict with Christianity, I am quite familiar with the term " cult " , as I and others are faced with it almost on a daily basis. I would just like to say that with my beliefs, I found it just a tad disturbing to come upon this in my mailbox. Ms. Reno's statement alone would have sufficed, but I find the statements above it were highly unnecessary, considering one does not know the beliefs of every person on the list. Yes this country was founded on " Christian beliefs and principals " , but firstly it was not the first set of spiritual beliefs in this country, and secondly this country is based on freedom of all religions without persecution. As a Pagan, I found it a bit offensive to read words of " The Truth " in my mail coming from a vaccinations list. Don't get me wrong, I am not one of these people who everyone has to " tread lightly " around for fear of offending. People talking about their religion is fine and dandy with me. I don't preach, I don't bash, and I have no qualms with the mainstream religion, as I find all religions beautiful in their own way. But if I want to hear about " Ignorance of the Truth " and to be reminded that this country is a " Christian country " , I will sign on to one of the many religion lists. Off topic threads are fine with me...I have no problems with deleting mail. But when it comes to something like this, I do feel the need to speak up. I had been trying to get around to asking this list if anyone here has gotten a religious exemption based on alternative beliefs, particularly Pagan beliefs. I guess this is as good a time as any, considering the subject. Anyone out there who can help? In closing, I'd like to say that this reply of mine is in no way intended to start any type of religious debate. Perhaps I should not even be sending this reply to the entire list, but I am doing so in order to make it clear to all that I don't exactly appreciate receiving this type of mail. If anyone finds fault with what I am saying....feel free to email me privately. Brightest Blessings,

Guest guest
, Apparently the quote is a hoax that was meant to inflame people to anger, which is exactly what it did,. I am only sorry I didn't find out until after I posted the message. I am truly sorry and I posted that it was a hoax as soon as I found out about it. God Bless, Re: Fw: (off topic, but pertinent)Me?
