Just wanted to say I agree with you that we have to get pro-active

and stop this BST that is being deemed as safe for our milk supply. It

is dangerous and very unhealthy for our children. an I believe that in

the United States you already have had it in your milk supply for some

time. Is it possible for you not only to have it labelled, but removed

from your milk supply? In Canada, we lobbied the government so heavily,

that so far we have kept it from our milk supply. In the National Post

newspapwer article dated Oct 30/1998, the heading read " Scientists

caught shredding papers. " Did you get wind of this in the USA?

Apparently several scientists that worked for the Health Protection

Branch testified at a senate hearing over their concerns about the

safety of the BST hormone that Monsanto wanted to get into our cows. One

scientist said Monsanto Inc, which makes the hormone offered a bribe of

$1-2 million to department scientists to keep quiet about their findings

with this hormone. It was said in the paper that the scientists were

being pressured into approving the BST. There was shredding of evidence

and scientists were abhored that their files had been broken into. The

Ottawa Sun said that Deputy Dodge, the deputy health minister, was

removing document shredding machines from the department. Rock's top

gun said " heads will roll " " if he finds there's truth to the claims of

document shredding pertaining to the approval process for a drug that

increases milk production in cows.Obviously someone did not follow

through with this, because I have not heard of any heads rolling as of

yet. The senate inquiry is over and all that was printed in the press

was that Canada was not approving of the BSt because it might be harmful

for the animals. Nothing was mentioned that it could be harmful to

humans. Was this the evidence that was shredded?I asked a senator about

this, but did not get a reply. I also have not received a reply as to

why the shredding of Dr. Byron Hydes's files on severely adversely

affected individuals (including death) from the genetically engineered

Hep B vaccine has not been addressed. What we really need here is a

vaccine for the shredding epidemic in Health Canada.

There is power in numbers and we need to all write our

government and send petions. Let as many people know about this as

possible. Just got off the phone with a friend from England and

apparently and they are really making waves over there about the

genetically altered foods. Even grocery stores are revolting. If we all

boycott this and start revolting they will have to listen. Why don't we

save all the genetically engineered food and vaccines and give them to

the government officials and Monsanto people to choke on.!!!! Now is

the time to stand up for what is right. I encourage all of you to speak

up.Its " people power " that we need because we can no longer depend on

our governments .Lets put the power back in our hands and not in the

pharaceutical companies that manufacture vaccines or in the

agro-chemical companies that determine what we eat.
