I can not believe that you were threatened like that Tina...sounds like

we live in a Police State and not the United States. It makes me sad to

think that you had to go thru that, not to mention the fact that you had

to incur the expense of an attorney. I wonder if the ACLU would ever

take on a case like that?

, no I did not have to get the MMR, at least i shouldn't have

to..they haven't gotten back to me yet, but I think I will decline the

job if they try to force the issue.

I am appalled that it is so difficult to report a vaccine injury now, I

feel that Donna Shalala (that is her first name isn't it?) has done a

grave disservice to the American people all in the name of financial

reform. Sometimes I feel so sad that we live in a society where people

who can't pay , cannot defend themselves against things like

this.....whereas the big corporations, i.e. drug manufacturers and docs

are exempt. I think that whether you are pro-vaccine or vaccine-free

you should have the option of holding the appropriate party accountable.

The more I read, the harder my decision is.....my heart really says NO,

but the medical establishment side of my brain says I am being

ridiculous and should do it. My child could have an allergic reaction

to a food and die, or to some OTC medicine.....but I am not nearly as

scared of these things as I am of the vaccines. Oh well, I am babbling

yet again...thanks for the wonderful info, as always....you all are

making me think.

BTW....If your child is unvaccinated and you go to the hospital, do you

all just say they are vaccinated and leave it at that??

I know personally, I don't have my OWN records of immunization, they

always have just gone on my word as an adult.....except for this last

job i told you about that required proof.
